What’s Your Home Theater Style?

July 25th, 2011

Home entertainment has come a long way and so have home theater interior styles. We’ve had the pleasure of working with home owners and interior designers to create their vision into reality. One of the initial steps in designing a home theater is figuring out what your interior style is. We’ve put together a quick reference guide to various home theater interior styles.

Contemporary

One of the popular choices of style amongst many designers today. Modern, clean lines, minimalist and neutral colors are the main characteristics of this interior style. This style tends to focus on simple shapes, uncluttered open space and current trends.

Traditional

Antique styling with elegant and graceful shapes, curves and deep colors. This style typically tends to be formal and understated with a focus on classic lines. Furniture in this style tends to be soft, smooth, functional and unfussy.

Thematic

The possibilities are endless! We’ve created some fabulous themed theaters based on The Pirates of the Caribbean and Batman. You’re only limited by your imagination here.

Art Deco

Lastly but not least, reminiscent of the post World War I era, sleek, sophisticated and shiny. Art deco is characterized by geometrical shapes with a focus on creating a lavish and glamorous look.

So, what’s your home theater style? Have a look at our Models & Colors page to custom design your home theater seating to suit your individual style.

New 2011 Line Launched

April 3rd, 2011

So after over a year of design and development, we are proud to officially announce the release of our new 2011 line of theater seating. Early feedback has been extremely positive, so we are looking forward to the future with confidence and excitement.

Many of the new designs can be seen in person at our new permanent showroom at the Las Vegas Design Center which will officially open on May 2nd. Our new showroom is located in Building A, Showroom 238. The showroom will be open all year round, in addition to the LV Market Winter and Summer trade shows.

Home theaters come in a variety of themes and styles, ranging from modern, high-tech space themes to 1920′s style traditional Art Deco designs. So the goal for our new line of seating was to create designs that merged traditional styling with the modern, contemporary styling that we are known for.

Just some of the various new designs can be seen below. As with all previous models, the various parts of the theater chair such as the Arm and Seat Back can be interactively mixed-and-matched to create a wide variety of unique configurations. Elite Home Theater Seating – Our First Blog!

March 20th, 2011

Greetings everyone and welcome to our new Blog.

As I type these first few words of our first ever blog post, I can’t help but feel excited at the start of this new journey. It kind of feels like a brand new car as you drive it off the lot for the first time. I’m sure this “vehicle” will allow us to transport a lot of informative, entertaining  and useful content to our readers for many years to come.

My name is Bobby Bala and I’m the founder and CEO of Elite Home Theater Seating. I started the company about 8 years ago and prior to that I worked primarily in the Video Game industry as a 3D Character Modeller and Animator. Since I also had a passion for home theaters, in my spare time, I would design home theater interiors and environments. Within these environments were theater chairs which I also designed.
